What this site does

AirActionToday provides air quality information and general guidance based on publicly available data. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site.

Location data

If you choose to use the "Use my location" feature, your browser requests your approximate coordinates to fetch air quality data for your area. This location is sent directly to our air quality data provider to retrieve results and is not stored on our servers or linked to your identity.

City search

When you search by city name, that search term is sent to our air quality data provider to retrieve results. We do not build a profile of your searches.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

Analytics

We may use standard web analytics tools to understand overall site traffic and usage patterns. This data is aggregated and not used to identify individual visitors.

Third-party data providers

• Air quality data: World Air Quality Index (WAQI) project
• Weather data: Open-Meteo

These providers have their own privacy practices governing the data sent to them.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Since this site does not require accounts or store personal profiles, most requests will not apply, but you can contact us with any concerns.
